On Right and Wrong

There’s no right or wrong way to have a life but only what is right for you. What is right for you might be wrong for someone else, but it doesn’t make it wrong. You need to live authentically and by your own values and desires.
I lived for so many years trying to please someone else and be the person they wanted me to be and thought I should be.
It didn’t fit.
I had to let go of trying to please this person so I could live a more authentic life. This included my decisions.
The decisions that I make, are right for me. And I make them knowing that they may be perceived as wrong by many. And even though they are upsetting and difficult and hard to explain/justify/defend… they are still right for me.
Leaving my home was hard but it was right for me.
Selling my business was difficult but it was right for me.
Saying goodbye to friends and family was heartbreaking but it was right for me.
My life and my experiences are exactly that! Mine! No one else’s. Your life is your own as well and if you want to live more authentically it might mean you need to make some hard decisions and letting go of important things too.
